HONE est un groupe dédié à l'Enduro/All Mountain, à prix abordable, qui s’adresse en priorité à celles et ceux qui veulent « développer, améliorer et affûter » leur technique. Il allie les caractéristiques de solidité et de fiabilité du dérailleur arrière du groupe SAINT à la légèreté qui caractérise les composants du groupe DEORE LX. Le groupe dispose de manettes Dual Control, d’un pédalier HOLLOWTECH II et de freins hydrauliques type Centerlock.

Le groupe HONE a été conçu pour une pratique tout terrain et se différencie du groupe SAINT qui s’adresse à une pratique extrême freeride.
